Pressure test skimmer(s), pool returns, pool cleaner and main drain(s). DYE TEST around all wall fittings, tile and skimmer area . If leak is indicated by pressure testing, we use electronic equipment to listen and locate leak. If there are additional booster pumps for water features, also pressure test plumbing for those features. If the pool has a floor cleaning system (pop up heads at bottom of pool), we can test that system as well (additional charges apply). Regular Price $265.00

If leak is indicated by pressure test, use electronic equipment to listen and locate leak. 2nd Generation Pools will then use the LeakTrac 2200 to locate any holes in liner. How it works: The sophisticated, but simple to use device puts a small electrical charge into the pool water. This charge seeks to make a connection to the ground. Since the pool liner is a good electrical insulator, the only ground connections are through conductive penetrations in the liner. The LeakTrac detects electrical current flow in the water as it seeks these ground connections, and produces audible signals that lead the operator to the exact location of the leak. |
